Larry Halter
New owner of Supersonic Scooters, Larry realizes how important racing @ tuning is to Supersonic Scooters & our customers. So it was obvious when Larry came on board his intent was not only to improve Supersonic Scooters but to keep our racing name and heritage alive in the years to come.
Scott G. Smallwood
Scott's focus is set steady on the U.S.G.P.R.U 125 grand prix series this season, a VERY competitive grand prix series Scott will certainly have his hands full w/ the best 125 & 250 GP motorcycle racers in the US. The limited time between these events will allow Scott to attend AHRMA motorcycle road racing events, ESRA scooter racing events as well as pursue his musical, cycling and Italian food obsessions.
Expect Scott to campaign his 1974 Vespa Zirri kitted smallframe @ selected ESRA events. Smallwood will also be racing his 1998 Honda RS 125 w/ the USGPRU, AHRMA & WERA organizations. Scott is the reigning AHRMA Sound Of Singles GP 125 national champion!
Josh Griffith
Josh has competed for several years now under the Supersonic Scooters flag. Josh has continued to finish top 5 in almost every MASS/ESRA Specials class event he has entered. Josh competes on a Vespa smallframe homogenizing of an ET3 frame/Tuned PK motor. Josh has also been very, very integral in getting moped road racing off the ground here in the eastern portion of the US.You will usually find Josh wrenching on a scooter as a service tech @ Supersonic Scooters or trying to find an extra 1/4 of a horsepower on his tuned Puch moped...
Joe Casola
Joe managed to get his feet wet in motorscooter racing @ the final round of ESRA's season in 2004. It was obvious when Joe hit the track he was a natural, getting his knee planted on the deck his first trip around Circleville Ohio's road course, as well as scoring a 3rd place on his first attempt @ racing a motorscooter. Certainly expect more from Joe in the 2005 scooter racing season.
Service manager @ Supersonic Scooters, Joe continues to refine his early Sears Allstate (PX 125 based, tuned motor) into a proficient racing scooter as well as take care of all your service needs and concerns...
Nathan Peselnick
Our fearless, younger, new addition to the Supersonic squadron. Nate is a top notch Go Ped tuner as well as an experience Go Ped pilot. He also had an opportunity to race a Derbi motorscooter this year in stock class W/ ESRA earning a 2nd Place his first race out and showing tons of potential. Expect Nate to be a force in the stock & specials class w/ ESRA in 2005 on his Derbi GP1. Also expect Nate to be attending and racing @ selected Go Ped races in and around the east and mid west...
Chris Stephens
After having raced with the Moped Racing Association during the inaugural 2004 season and serving as Co-Race Director with Josh Griffith, Chris finally got a scooter on the track at ESRA's season finale at Circleville Raceway Park in October, 2004. He will campaign his P200 in the stock classes of ESRA and MASS during the 2005 season. An experienced restorer/tuner of Vespa mopeds, Chris will also defend his 2004 2nd place title in the specials class of MRA on his highly modified Vespa Grande.
